Parents are calling for cyclists to get in gear and sign up for the Peak District’s most challenging cycle sportive in order to raise funds for a local pre-school.
Taking place on June 28, this is the second year of the Bradwell Hill Billy in the Hope Valley to raise funds for Bradwell Pre-School.
The event was organised for the first time last year to raise money for the pre-school.
It is expected to attract 200 cyclists to enjoy a day of hard cycling set in beautiful scenery.
Anna Caig, mother of two-year-old Oscar who attends Bradwell Pre-School, said: “It has made a huge difference to Oscar to be able to go to such a brilliant pre-school in our village. He has come on leaps and bounds since he started. The staff team work so hard, and all the children have so much fun. You can have an amazing day out cycling, and also know you are doing a good thing keeping our beloved village pre-School going.”
There is a five hill route in addition to the full seven hill Hill Billy. Entrance costs £25 for the seven hill, and £22 for the five hill route.
