Enjoy the autumn colours of the National Trust’s Clumber Park on Saturday 8th and Sunday October 9 at the park’s annual Woodland Fair.
The event will showcase products and activities associated with the trees and woodlands set in the beautiful 3,800 acre estate.
The event will feature activities for all the family to get involved with, from traditional crafts and stalls to ‘have a go’ sessions and displays. There will be story-telling, workshops and the woodland play area will be open where kids can let off some steam.
Stalls will be showcasing new and traditional uses for wood with handmade crafts, providing an excellent opportunity to get those early Christmas gifts. Visitors will be able to learn about the renewable nature of wood and the importance of trees to wildlife
The Woodland Fair takes place on Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 October 2011, between 10am and 5pm. It is a free event but normal admission charges to the park apply.
