Whether it’s decorating cookies, creating eco-friendly elephants or making your very own sock puppets – there’s no end of activities for kids of all ages at Wentworth Castle Gardens this half term.
For those feeling brave, there’s also the popular Meet a Creature event, hosted by the brand new Garden Explorers club.
The Victorian Conservatory is open to visitors now too and is filled with exotic plants from around the globe.
The old Potting Shed has been transformed into an interactive interpretation centre where you can learn all about the history of the gardens.
There will also be Crafts in the Conservatory each day throughout the week and visitors can simply drop in to take part.
Full calendar of events during half-term is as follows: Monday, February 24 – Friendly Face Cookies; Tuesday, February 25 – Ele-friends: Recycled Crafts; Wednesday, February 26 – Make a Sock Dragon; Thursday, February 27 – Meet a Creature & Garden Explorers, plus ‘Crafts in the Conservatory’ each weekday between 11am and 1pm.
