Filling station selling alcohol shows total irresponsibility

I READ with great interest about the granting of an alcohol licence to the Cross Keys filling station at Hoyland Common.
I must have mistakenly understood that the government are in favour of outlawing drink driving. This move is totally irresponsible considering the threat to life and limb from over-the-limit drivers. These are the stories that must continue to be reported, if only to make people aware of the hypocrisy that lies amongst today's politicians. I am also disgusted that the police did not raise an objection - after all, they are usually first on the scene to witness the horrific carnage drink-drivers cause.
