YOU can swing into the season of goodwill with Chris Dean and his Syd Lawrence Orchestra, when they return to The Sands Venue, Gainsborough on Wednesday, December 23.
Christmas wouldn't be complete without this ultimate festive Big Band concert, packed with the music of the legendary Glenn Miller – from the outfit recently voted the UK's number one Big Band for the 11th consecutive year.

Renowned for its exciting blend of high-octane Big Band Swing and Classic Dance Music, the Orchestra's repertoire ranges from the wartime million-sellers of the legendary Glenn Miller, and stretching through the era of the Count Basie Orchestra to Frank Sinatra and Ella Fitzgerald.

Under the direction of Chris Dean, the orchestra picks from a repertoire of over 1,000 arrangements and this concert features star vocalists Eleanor Keenan and Angie Mills plus vocal group The Serenaders.

The latter recreate the sound of vocal groups such as The Modernaires, The Pied Pipers and The Sentimentalists.

Tickets are available from the Sands box office on 01427 811118, or the website at: www.the-sands.co.uk
