MR AND Mrs Twit are the ugly, smelly, and disgusting... and they just love playing nasty tricks on each other.
They amuse themselves training their pet monkeys harshly, to become part of their dream Upside-down Monkey Circus. Will the monkeys be doomed to an undignified lifetime of performing tricks upside down? Will anyone come to rescue them from The Twits?
This menagerie comes to Doncaster Little Theatre, in an adaptation by David Wood of the Roald Dahl story that will be a real treat for children this Easter, with a mixture of music, dance and humour, suitable for all over fives.
Mr and Mrs Twit are played by Little Theatre regulars, Angela Wren and Nikki Windmill.
Directed by Janet Wilkinson, The Twits opens on Saturday, April 11, with a matinee at 2pm and an evening show at 7pm, and runs until Saturday 18th April. (No show on Easter Monday).
