MR AND Mrs Twit are the ugly, smelly, and disgusting... and they just love playing nasty tricks on each other.
They amuse themselves training their pet monkeys harshly, to become part of their dream Upside-down Monkey Circus. Will the monkeys be doomed to an undignified lifetime of performing tricks upside down? Will anyone come to rescue them from The Twits?

This menagerie comes to Doncaster Little Theatre, in an adaptation by David Wood of the Roald Dahl story that will be a real treat for children this Easter, with a mixture of music, dance and humour, suitable for all over fives.

Mr and Mrs Twit are played by Little Theatre regulars, Angela Wren and Nikki Windmill.

Directed by Janet Wilkinson, The Twits opens on Saturday, April 11, with a matinee at 2pm and an evening show at 7pm, and runs until Saturday 18th April. (No show on Easter Monday).

For more information or to book tickets, call the Box Office on 01302 340422 or visit www.thedoncasterlittletheatre.co.uk

MEANWHILE Doncaster's Civic Theatre also hosts BAFTA award-winning CBBC show Boogie Beebies over Easter.

The new production for children of all ages will see the much-loved presenter Pete Hillier take to the town venue's stage in Boogie Pete – Live! on Monday, April 6 at 1.30pm.

A firm kids TV favourite, Boogie Pete's extraordinary energy and charm will have audiences' boogieing in their seats as he shows off some moves, magic and silliness in this fun-packed show.

Youngsters are invited to come along and join in with all their favourite songs and dances including: Go-Go, Mango, Hey Monkey, Ocean Motion and many more.

Tickets for the event cost £7 and £24 for a family (based on two adults, two children) and are available from the Box Office on 01302 342349 or online at www.doncastercivic.co.uk
