IT'S just small pouch short of the Full Monty... but Doncaster Little Theatre is looking for four blokes keen and eager to strip off on stage!
The theatre is holding open auditions to cast two very different forthcoming productions.
First up is Girls' Night Out, the hilarious and acclaimed show telling the story of the most unforgettable hen night ever, by Dave Simpson and Paul Farrah.
First performed in 1996 at Chester's Gateway Theatre , it has since then filled theatres across the UK, and been seen by over a million people.
The play needs a cast of four men and four women, and all four male cast members must be willing and able to dance and strip down to posing pouches.
Director Alan Roberts said: "The show is strictly adults only, and will appeal especially to groups of women.
"We'll be offering special deals – especially if they happen to be on a Hen Night, and this show should get our 2009/2010 season off with a bang!
"For the audition, we will need guys to Strut their Funky Stuff to a piece of music of their choice.
"Age is not important, as long as the relationships between the characters works, but the males do need to have that certain something that will appeal to a female audience – and be aged over 18."
He said it would be the first round of auditions for Girls' Night Out, and the qualifiers will be given the chance to think carefully about the show, and invited back for a second audition with the Director, at a date to be confirmed.
The show will be on at the Doncaster Little Theatre from September 19 -26, so if you're planning a Hen Night around that time, contact the Little Theatre for details of its special offers.
The theatre is also looking for cast members for A Mid-summer Night's Dream. Directed by Jan Townend, the show runs from October 17-24.
Aspiring thespians can go along to the Little Theatre on Sunday (June 14) at 2pm.
