MONTY PYTHON legend Michael Palin, will be globetrotting his way back to his home city for a special one-off charity performance at Sheffield City Hall.
Fans of the comedy actor turned prolific travel writer will be able to enjoy an evening full of great stories and humour when he takes to the Irwin Mitchell Oval Hall stage on Thursday, 30 0ctober, 2008.

Michael will be drawing on experiences from his recent travels to New Europe which took him to a world that has changed beyond belief since the end of the Cold War and the collapse of the Iron Curtain. It's a journey that has seen hope and unity in a place of fear and war, but on a more personal level involved a leech attack, bag theft, spiky sea urchins and being wrapped in plastic with Miss World.

His one off show, in aid of local charity Helen's Trust, is titled 'Travel, Comedy and a Little Bit of Fish'. As travel and comedy are pretty much a given, the audience won't find out what the "little bit of fish" is about until the night!
