FANS of indie rock veterans Stereophonics will have a nice day when their heroes drop in at the Sheffield Arena in December.
The Welsh three-piece's followers will be getting out their handbags and gladrags for the gig, on December 19, but will need to get in quick to beat the traffic - as tickets are sure to sell out once word gets around.

The gig is part of a Greatest Hits arena tour to support the band's forthcoming best-of compilation, 'Decade In The Sun', to be released in November.

Stereophonics - Kelly Jones, Richard Jones and Javier Weyler – are one of the UK's most successful bands. Originally formed in Cwmaman, South Wales in 1996, the band have transcended their Britpop beginnings to become giants of the British rock scene, amassing 11 top five hits, 21 top twenty hits, and 9 million worldwide album sales.

Tickets are on sale from from the Arena box office: 0114 2565656.
