SCHOOLchildren in Goldthorpe had a flippin' great time on Tuesday, as they enjoyed a pancake making day.
Pupils at Sacred Heart RC Primary School on Lockwood Road showed off their cooking skills during a competition to see who was the best at making and flipping pancakes.

The event was held to celebrate Shrove Tuesday and youngsters at the school have been busy collecting money from people who agreed to sponsor the event.

This money will go towards paying for an outdoor stage which the school is planning to install in the playground.
