THE FESTIVE season is getting into its stride, with Christmas events taking place across our area.
Among the festivities this week were a Christmas fair at Heather Garth School, Bolton on Dearne, which raised around £500 for school funds.
The school also lit the first of its Advent candles.
And at Christ Church, West Melton, a whole host of decorated Christmas trees have been getting everyone into the seasonal spirit - and raising money for charity, too.
