PUPILS and staff at Swinton Milton School are currently raising money as part of a bid to land specialist school status and are having a great time doing it judging by these pictures from their summer fare.
Activities on the day included a balloon pop tombola, hook-a-duck, name the teddy and the rather interesting sounding knock-down-a-teacher skittles which proved very popular by all accounts.

In just one and a half hours more than £300 was raised to be put towards the specialist communications status bid fund which needs to reach the £20,000 mark in the next year.

If granted Swinton Milton will become one of the first special schools in the area to receive specialist status but they will require charitable donations to get to that point.

Anyone interested in donating money or items that could be raffled off should contact the school.
