SCORES of revellers soaked up the sun and had fun at Denaby's first ever Party in the Park.
Jim Tierney, who helped organise the event at Denaby Memorial Park thanked everyone who took part. He said: "It was a glorious day and a great success. It was very well attended and still going strong at 7pm."

Youngsters enjoyed a huge variety of fairground rides, a bouncy castle and displays, including the Storybook Bus, the Fire Services, circus performances and an acrobatic dancing display.

There were dozens of stalls offering advice, information and free food from the healthy eating team.

The event was organised by Denaby Community partnership and Conisbrough and Denaby Safer Neighbourhood Team.
