DROP-IN sessions with Dearne Options Team are held at Thurnscoe Lifelong Learning Centre on alternate Tuesdays from 10am-noon. Members of the team are available to speak in confidence to anyone aged 20 and over on matters regarding employment and CVs, debt problems, benefits and housing. AFTERNOON Tea Dances are being held at St Hilda's Community Hall fortnightly on Wednesdays from 2-4pm. Admission is £1.50 and includes the tea.
VOLUNTEERS are required to help out at Thurnscoe Station House Community Centre's after schools club. Anyone who would like to work with children aged from five to 11 one or more nights a week usually between the hours of 3-6pm can get more details by calling in at Station House or ringing them on 01709 880682. Applicants will be required to undertake a CRB check and provide personal references.
STATION House hold a Parents and Baby group on Wednesdays from 9.30-11.30am and playgroup meetings on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9.30-11.30am.
