A REMEMBRANCE Day service will be held at Goldthorpe Parish Church at 10.30am on Sunday. The Parish Office for the booking of weddings and baptisms is now held at the church on Wednesdays at 6pm.
A COFFEE morning will be held at Goldthorpe Parish Hall on November 11 from 9.30-11.30am, proceeds for church funds.

SHOTOKAN Karate marshal arts and self-defence training with 3rd Dan Sensai Adrian Purcell is held at Goldthorpe Parish Hall on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7pm.

DEARNE Enterprise Centre is offering a book borrowing facility for a trial period. In conjunction with the Library service as part of the National Year of Reading, they have two stands of children's and adult's fiction and non-fiction books available for loan.

WEEKEND tote numbers at Highgate WMC were 10 and 45 and 7 and 21. The Alpha tote resulted VJG (one winner).

SUNDAY night's tote draw at Goldthorpe Reform Club resulted 8 and 44.
