from 11am.
Attractions will include games, cake stalls and side shows. Refreshments available. Admiss-ion is free and everyone is welcome; proceeds for church funds. Arrangements are being made to hold a pilgrimage to the Shrine of Our Lady at Egmanton on July 8. For details contact church members.
A FORMER curate of Goldthorpe Parish Church, Fr Dickinson, has invited church members to a special event at his church, St Philip's and St James' Church in New Bentley on July 2 at 7pm to celebrate his 20th anniversary as a priest.
A BUILDING project to create a new foundation unit Keystage 1 classrooms began at Goldthorpe Sacred Heart School last Wednesday.
The work is expected to take 20 weeks to complete. Year 5 pupils were taking part in a Bikeability course last week.
KEEP in trim at Dearneside Leisure Centre by joining the Aquafit sessions every Thursdays from 6-7pm. Anyone aged 16 years and up is welcome.
A Family Swim session is held on Fridays 4-5pm and Ladies Only sessions are held on Wednesdays 7.30-8.30pm and Fridays 5-6pm.
EARLY morning swimming sessions are held at Dearneside Leisure Centre on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 7-8.30am and adults only lunchtime sessions are held 12.15-1.15pm. There are also adult only sessions on Tuesdays 8pm-9.30pm Thursdays from 11.45am-12.45pm.
Family swim sessions are held on Monday 7.30-8.30pm and Tuesdays between 4pm and 6pm and 6pm and 8pm with adults only Monday and Wednesday 8.30-9.30pm and Tuesday 8-9.30pm and Thursday 9-10pm.
Family swim sessions take place on Saturday 12-2pm with a kids' fun session 2-3pm. On Sunday it's adults only 10-11am, family swimming 11am-1pm and kids' fun swim 1-2.30pm.
SWIMMING lessons are held at Dearneside Leisure Centre Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 4pm and on Saturday mornings from 8.30am.
THE Study Support Group for eight to 16-year-olds at Goldthorpe Library meets during term times on Mondays and Thursdays from 3-5.30pm, Tuesdays from 3-5pm and on alternate Saturdays from 10am-noon. New members welcome.
