DENABY Ings is holding a Volunteer Day on Tuesday, June 30. Organisers plan to carry out essential groundwork such as clearing paths and making other minor necessary repairs and improvements to the area.
There will also be loads of fun along the way for anyone who wishes to go along and join in. If you would like to become a volunteer for the day meet at the car park on Pastures Road, Mexborough, at l0am. The day's work will continue until 4pm, but you don't have to stay all day. If you wish to go along and lend your support for just a few hours it will be much appreciated. Wear stout shoes, and pack a mac – just to be on the safe side – you will be made very welcome.

HELP and advice is available for the young unemployed at Denaby Library's Job Mate's service.

Chris Day is based there on Tuesdays for outreach sessions for the under-19s with help filling in applications, preparing CVs and a counselling service. Chris is also at Tom Hill on Mondays 3.30-5pm and 11am-1pm on Thursdays.

DENABY and Conisbrough Safer Neighbourhood team, Partners and Communities Together (PACT) are holding a public meeting at Harrogate Court today (Thurs) at 2pm. Everyone welcome.
