and includes light refreshments.

DARFIELD History Society are still appealing for photographs and memorabilia relating to the Darfield area during World War 2 to use in a forthcoming display at Darfield Library called Darfield At War. They are looking for any pictures taken in the area at the time, including wedding photographs which contain people in uniform, or photographs of local people while they were serving in the armed forces. The Society meets in the Library every Tuesday from 10am-noon and anyone who can help them out is invited to pop in at meeting times with their items. Pictures and documents can be copied and returned immediately if people do not wish to leave the originals.
