RESIDENTS inspired by the Olympic efforts of volunteers can take the baton and help raise funds for life-saving work.

Every Penny Counts is a programme of collections held in Tesco stores across the country in aid of Cancer Research UK.

Volunteer collectors are needed at the supermarkets in Doncaster’s Church View, Edenthorpe’s Thorne Road and Woodfield Plantation in Balby between October 26 and 28.
