Visit your Big Local event

THURNSCOE residents are invited to an event on October 17, with free food and entertainment.

Organised by the Big Local group, that distributes funds to local activities, the evening from 6pm to 9pm will allow information about what is happening locally to be shared.

There was a logo designing competition for the Big Local group held in schools during July. A logo has now been selected and the group will make a presentation to the winner, along with the handing over of funding cheques to successful applicants who applied to the grant scheme.

Attendees will be asked how they would make Thurnscoe a better place and anyone who completes a form is entered in to a free raffle.
