ALMOST 800 students from 66 different courses will be graduating from Doncaster’s University centre.

The ceremonies will take place across three days between November 27 and 29 at the Doncaster Minster after processions from Doncaster College’s Hub campus.

Guest speakers include ex-student Richard Barker, who is now the manager of Crawley Town football club, executive director of Doncaster’s new performance venue ‘Cast’ Kully Thiarai, and Doncaster Council’s chief executive Jo Miller.

Highlights during the awards will include Louise Cunningham, this year’s recipient of the Marie Morton-Cowell award, and Adrian Wilson, the recipient of the Polypipe award.

Maureen Sydney, director of higher education at the University Centre in High Melton, said: “We have a long standing positive relationship with the University of Hull, our main undergraduate validating partner. This enables us to offer a first rate student experience.

“Our lecturing staff are highly qualified both in educational and industrial terms and our students have good levels of contact with their tutors to keep them motivated and to prepare them for working life.”
