FOUR adventurous students from the town’s deaf college have completed a training programme in Sweden.

Afia Ahmed, Charlotte Locke, Joy Sells and Tamsin Smith of Doncaster College for the Deaf went to the Swedish National Upper Secondary School for the Deaf in Örebro.

During their two week educational trip, the quartet visited sights including the Örebro Castle and the Bergslagsleden Nature Reserve.

The trip gave them the chance to develop work-related skills and learn about foreign cultures as part of an exchange programme.
