Queen’s honour for Richard
PCSO Richard Kearney who is to receive an MBE.
THE work of a Rawmarsh-based PCSO was recognised in the Queen’s Honours List.
Richard Kearney will receive an MBE for his work as a Police and Community Support Officer Supervisor in the community of Wentworth South over seven years. He has helped to drive forward many community projects and his work has contributed to reductions in crime and anti social behaviour.
Richard said, “This is a great honour, due in no small part to the team that I lead and the devotion of my family. I hope that it raises the profile of the dedication and hard work that Wentworth South Safer Neighbourhood Team have put into the communities we serve.”
