Play area work is set to begin

WORK on a new multi-use games area in West Butterwick will begin in March.

The parish council pledged £10,000 towards the scheme, on the village playing field. But further cash grants have been secured.

The £70,000 total cost for the project has been met and the area which will have five-a-side football, tennis, basketball and volley ball courts should be open by the end of April.
