THERE ain’t no mountain high enough for one resident who is planning to conquer Mount Kilimanjaro.

Martin Handley is preparing to take on the 5,895 metre climb in aid of the charity Childreach International on August 27.

To help towards his fundraising, a coffee morning was held at Thorne Methodist Church in King Street, where cakes and coffee were on offer. The morning raised £130 towards his cause.
