Mark gears up for marathon

Mark Broster, formerly of Epworth, is to undertake the 2013 London Marathon on behalf of the National Osteoporosis Society.

A FORMER Epworth schoolboy is putting on his running shoes to take part in the London Marathon.

Mark Broster, is busy training for the gruelling 26 mile race through the streets of the capital on April 21.

The former Epworth Church School and South Axholme pupil is hoping to raise £1,500 for the National Osteoporosis Society.

His mum Anne Broster, is delighted that Mark has chosen the NOS as his nominated charity as she is very much involved with the organisation. She has been a voluntary worker supporting and fundraising in North Lincolnshire for the charity for many years.

Anne is appealing for sponsorship on behalf of her son.
