ISLE women show they can move and shake with the best of them at a zumba fitness class.

The classes, held at Belton Park Pavilion, are proving more and more popular with fitness fanatics each week.

Fitness instructor Rae Cowling, 51, of Crowle, said up to 40 women are now attending the sessions.

She said: “Zumba is a great way of keeping in shape for people who don’t want to pound the streets in their running shoes or lift heavy weights in the gym.

“It focuses on dance moves to music which helps with weight loss and flexibility.

“I’ve been running them for a few years now and they have really taken off. The numbers have been growing.

“The sessions are also great fun and the ladies who attend have had some great results.”
