It’s a knockout of a day for Ben

A FAMILY fun day filled with inflatables and a retro television theme will be taking place to support Ben Parkinson.

The It’s A Knockout challenge has been organised to take place at the Hayfield Bar and Restaurant in Hayfield Lane, Auckley, where teams will be able to battle it out for the Ben Parkinson Challenge Trophy.

The fastest team over the inflatable course will win a trophy, and teams of four can be made up of adults and children.

An action packed day has been planned to go alongside the challenge, taking place this Sunday, and will see an all day barbecue and hogroast, an auction and raffle with prized including a golf club signed by Darren Clarke, an iPod touch and a pair of tickets to a Manchester United match.

Ben will be on hand throughout the day to meet the winners, and all money raised on the day will go to support injured troops.

Taking part in the It’s a Knockout challenge costs £20 for a team of four people.
