santa can’t get it right every time - and one Christmas present still hasn’t found its way to its rightful owner.
A bag was left on the handle of a front door in Jossey Lane in Scawthorpe for a little girl called Hannah.
Unfortunately, it was left at the wrong address and Sarah Bowes, 41, who found the bag on Christmas Eve, is appealing for help from Free Press readers to find Hannah.
She said: “I thought it was carol singers at the door and then I found this present.”
“The gift was a book called Olivia and The Fairy Princess and a card left in a John Lewis bag at about 7pm on December 24.
Sarah, funeral director at Millwood and Son in Mexborough, added: “There was also a £5 note with the card, which was signed Julie S.”
If you know Hannah, call the Free Press on 01302 347265.
