To avoid the rush you can get your skates on and pre-register and collect your suits for this year’s Santa Dash on Sunday.

Those wanting to take part in the festive themed frivolities can come along to Sandall Park between 10am and 12 noon on Sunday where The Friends of Sandall Park and Aurora volunteers will be there to hand out suits and reindeer antlers.

You can also register and collect suits from Ready Steady Store on Wheatley Hall Road.

Chairman of the group Sandra Crabtree said “We are expecting large numbers for this colourful and fun event so it would be great if people could register before the day”.

The annual event raises money for the Aurora Centre who provide treatments to cancer patients.

Adults are £8 including a santa suit and £3 for children who can dress as Rudolph, or £20 per family of four. See www.sandallpark.org.uk for further details.
