The Christmas countdown has begun and the Lakeside Village shopping centre is celebrating with a host of seasonal fun for the whole family to enjoy.

To kick off the celebrations, shoppers are invited to join the ‘Christmas Festive Fun’ on Saturday from 11am to 4pm for a day of free activities and festive entertainment.

Santa will be making a special appearance on his sleigh and will be handing out free chocolate treats for the children.

As well as Santa, youngsters can meet the reindeer before they jet off to get ready for the Christmas rush and have fun in the snow in Lakeside Village’s giant snow globe.

Children can also look the part with festive Christmas face painting and balloon modelling to get everyone in the mood.

Christmas wouldn’t be the same without meeting Santa’s on his sleigh, so he will be around every Saturday 11am to 4pm and every Sunday 11am to 3pm from Saturday November 17 to bring the festive spirit to all the children and handing out free chocolate treats.

Cheryl Sadler, Centre Manager at Lakeside Village said: “We are really excited to be able to offer shoppers a whole day filled with fantastic, festive fun.”
