The Embankment Children’s Centre on Station Road, Thurnscoe has a busy programme of activities for all the family.

On Mondays from 9.30-11.30am there is a Baby Yoga class (£2 per session) and from 1-3pm an Adult Learning and Numeracy Group sponsored by BMBC Adult Learning. Also Mondays 1-3pm Cooking on a Budget Part 1 (£2 per session). Tuesdays from 9.30-11.30am it’s Chill and Chat, with various speakers, for parents and children under five (£2 per session).

Wednesdays from 10.30am-12.30pm there’s an anti natal and post-natal breastfeeding group (£1 per session). On Thursdays 9.30-11.30am it’s Cooking on a Budget Part 2 and 9.30-10.30am Baby Massage (£2 per session). On Fridays, 9.30-11.30am there’s a child development course for parents of under 5saged 0-five years.
