LABOUR leader Ed Miliband has helped one of his constituents on the road after presenting motorist Shirley Lynam with a brand new Motability car.

The Doncaster North MP was at Hayselden Volkswagen to present the new car to stroke victim Shirley, 65 who said: “My Motability car has given me a new lease of life and I couldn’t imagine getting by without it. It means I can be more independent and run basic errands on my own. It really has given me my life back.”

Mr Miliband said “I recognise the important work that Motability does and think it is excellent that people can receive this type of support and help with their mobility.”
