DARFIELD WI are staging a fashion show by The Complete Clothing Company at Darfield Community Centre next Wednes-day at 7pm. Admission is £2.50 and includes light refreshments.
PASSERS by are welcome to pop in to Valley Methodist Church in Darfield any Wednesday between 8.45am and 9.30am for free tea and toast and a chat.
A MEN'S Breakfast will be held at Valley Methodist Church on Saturday from 9am.
A MEETING of Darfield Wesley Companions Group will be held on Wednesday at 2.30pm.
DARFIELD History Society are still appealing for photographs and memorabilia relating to the Darfield area during World War 2 to use in a forthcoming display at Darfield Library called Darfield At War. They are looking for any pictures taken in the area at the time, including wedding photographs which contain people in uniform, or photographs of local people while they were serving in the armed forces. The Society meets in the Library every Tuesday from 10am-noon and anyone who can help them out is invited to pop in at meeting times with their items. Pictures and documents can be copied and returned immediately if people do not wish to leave the originals.
A JUNIOR Youth Club meets at Darfield Wesley Church on Fridays during term times from 6.30-8pm.
BROWNIES and Guides meet at Darfield Wesley Church on Tuesday evenings during term times.
MOTHERS' Mothers' Union meets at All Saints' Church Hall on the first and third Thursday of every month at 7.30pm.
VALLEY Methodist Church, Darfield, is open for prayer on Wednesday mornings from 9.30-10am and a Bible study group meet on Wednesday at 7pm.
DARFIELD WI meets in the Cafe Gallery at the Maurice Dobson Museum on the second Tuesday of every month.
DARFIELD Get Together Club meets in Darfield Community Centre every Thursday from 2-4pm.
THE Hungry Caterpillars Toddler Group meet at Valley Methodist Church on Fridays from 9.15-11.30am.
