Consultation on office ends

A CONSULTATION on plans to move a post office in Swinton has drawn to a close.

Under the proposals Swinton Post Office will move from its current location at Station Street to the Spar store on the same road.

The public had until February 1 to have their say and the move is set to go ahead in March when post master Chris Cadman, 63, and his wife Pam, 62, retire.
