YOUNGSTERS from a Doncaster nursery were among the first to try out the borough’s central library following its £120,000 refurbishment.

Children from Sticky Mits and The Cavendish nurseries were invited to take part in a story time activity with songs and rhymes to mark the completion of the work.

The £120,000 refurbishment started in November 2012 and was completed in less than five weeks. It included redecoration, new carpets in some areas, the introduction of additional seating areas, and the refurbishment of the public toilets.
