A VILLAGE pub is urging people who did not enjoy festive family time to claim back the Christmas they missed.

The Scawsby Mill, part of the Fayre and Square chain, wants people whose Christmas was put on ice because of aspects including work commitments and other factors.

The winner will receive £1,000 and a family meal at The Scawsby Mill, off Barnsley Road.

Kim Smith, general manager, said: “For many people Christmas can be a bittersweet time – especially for families who can’t be together.”

To nominate a deserving family, visit www.fayre-square.com or www.facebook.com/FayreandSquare

Deadline closes January 17.
