Dearne Valley College’s Hair and Beauty staff are hosting the very first Parent’s Evening to be held at the College’s brand new, on-site hair and beauty salon since its recent launch.

The Parent’s Evening aims to keep parents and guardians of 16 to 18 year old learners ‘in-the-loop’ with their offspring’s education by updating them on the student’s progress and achievements, with tutors available throughout the event for parents to chat with. They can even observe their children at work, with a range of their treatments available on the night for all parents, clients and prospective clients, including nail painting and hair pin-ups. All proceeds from these, as well as from a charity raffle, will be kindly donated to Cancer Research. The event will be taking place at the salon on the College’s Manvers campus, on Wednesday, February 13, 6-8pm.
