Waiting for Video...

thrills and spills of a group of Doncaster adrenaline junkies attracted a crowd of about 400 spellbound spectators.

Spectators enjoyed impressive displays from BMX and scooter riders with some competitors soaring a nail-biting six feet into the air.

The Skate and Scooter Jam on Sunday, which was rescheduled from last month, saw about 60 competitors put through their paces at Sprotbrough Skatepark.

Steve Gratton, chairman of user group Area51 which runs the park off Anchorage Lane, said: “It was an absolutely fantastic day.
“At least 90 per cent of those who took part were from the borough and there were some really impressive performances - with competitors aged from six up to their twenties.”
